Analysis
We learnt from the questionnaire that a 1920's film in the 21st century would not be popular for the nine students we asked, therefore the ideal target audience would be aimed at 18 plus. The students thought that the hybrid we chose contrast well as most action/romance movies are ranked high in the top all time films. The majority of the people who took the questionnaire chose romance as their favorite genre of film, therefore the genre of romance will fit well with the target audience we are aiming it at. 5/5 of the females we asked what the was, was romance, this showed that our opening sequence would be popular to females. But one male chose action which encourages us to stay with the idea of action/romance because the action will keep the males interested and the romance will keep the females interested. The film will be aimed at all races and nothing in the opening will be against racial views. As the questionnaire we made were all asked by students, it gave us an idea of what the age of the target audience will be, 18 plus as signs of sexual scenes and acts of violence will be shown in the film. The socio-economic scale that most people would be in is high/middle class as we want the film to look hollywood style, like the film has had a high budget spent on it. The main catagories in phsychographic profiling that we want to veiw our film are mainstreamers, aspirers and suceeders. These are rated as the ones who can buy a high budget film.
